<title>Eco- Friendly Process for The Preparation of Bio Diesel Using Supported Soliid Acid Catalyst</title>
<link>http://10.9.150.37:8080/dspace//handle/atmiyauni/643</link>
<description>Eco- Friendly Process for The Preparation of Bio Diesel Using Supported Soliid Acid Catalyst
Joshi, Parthkumar B.; Kanzariya, Hitesh M.
Biodiesel production was carried out by using cotton seed oil and catalyst B-ADSASi&#13;
(B-Alanine di sulfonic acid Silica), To characterize the biodiesel and catalyst B-ADSA-Si&#13;
produced, different standard tests were carried out. Besides standard tests, FTIR&#13;
spectroscopy biodiesel and catalyst was also performed. Results reveal that characteristics&#13;
of biodiesel depend on the feed stock and characteristic of catalyst. The best combination&#13;
of properties is obtained from Cotton seed oil-based Biodiesel. Biodiesel produced from&#13;
waste vegetable oil was also found very convenient to be used and properties were comparable&#13;
to an ordinary diesel fuel.
