Abstract:
In this work, a novel series of compounds based on 2-((5-(2-methylimidazo [1, 2-a] pyridine-3-yl)-1, 3, 4-oxadiazol-2-yl) thio)-N-phenylacetamide derivatives was meticulously synthesized and thoroughly characterized through infrared spectroscopy, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectroscopies. The systematic synthesis and characterization of these compounds aimed to establish a foundation for investigating their potential antibacterial and antifungal activities. The research methodology involved a multi-faceted approach, wherein the synthesized compounds were subjected to rigorous testing to evaluate their effectiveness against bacterial and fungal strains. The experimental design included a range of concentrations to provide a comprehensive understanding of the compounds’ inhibitory effects.
