Abstract:
The financial position of the company depends on the adequate availability of the funds and proper utilization of the
funds which helps the company to progress. Financial Analysis and Financial Statements are the two main tools which
can help to plan the future availability and utilization of the firm. The present research report is based on the financial
performance analysis of selected Airways companies with the help of Z-Score Model and Zmijewski Model. The Z-Score
Model was developed by Edward Altman in 1968 and Zmijewski Model was developed by Mark E Zmijewski. The
researcher has used the model to analyze the solvency status of the of the selected Airways Companies. Mainly The
present research is based considering the Secondary Data of the companies. The data had been collected from financial
statements of the companies and from different websites like moneycontrol.com, rediffmoney.com and annual reports of
the selected companies. In present study the companies from Airways Industry have been considered by the researcher.
The companies were selected by Lottery Method by the researcher. The researcher will apply two independent Sample
T -Test. The researcher found that models help and guide a lot in knowing the solvency status of the companies. The
researcher also concluded that models could help a lot to the management in taking various decisions.
