dc.description.abstract New Mn(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) heterochelates were synthesize by reacting Semicarbazone, Thiosemicarbazone and Antipyrine with 2 amino 3,5 dibromo benzaldehyde. All the synthesized Schiff’s base ligands and their heterochelates were examined for their spectroscopic and antimicrobial activities. The structures of Schiff’s base ligands were confirmed by 1H NMR, IR, Mass, elemental analysis and their heterochelates were confirmed by IR and FAB mass spectroscopy. All the Schiff’s base ligands and heterochelates were screened for in-vitro biological study against Gram positive (Bacillus subtilis, S. Aureus) and Gram negative (E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) microorganisms. The results confirmed that transition metal based heterochelates have an immense potential and important for further research work en_US
