dc.description.abstract This systematic literature review aims to provide a comprehensive synthesis of existing research on placement enhancement initiatives for students in higher education. Focusing on bridging the gap between academic learning and workforce readiness, the review explores a range of strategies and programs implemented by educational institutions to enhance students' placement prospects. The review begins with a systematic search and analysis of relevant academic databases, scholarly journals, and conference proceedings. A rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria are applied to ensure the selection of studies that specifically address placement enhancement initiatives. The selected literature is then categorized based on key themes, including career counselling, skill development, internships, industry collaborations, networking, and technological interventions. Through the review, we aim to identify common trends, challenges, and best practices associated with these initiatives. Special attention is given to studies that assess the impact of placement enhancement programs on students' career readiness, employability skills, and overall satisfaction with their educational experiences. Additionally, the review explores the varying needs of diverse student populations, considering factors such as gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic background. The synthesis of findings will contribute to a nuanced understanding of the effectiveness and limitations of different placement enhancement initiatives. Furthermore, the review seeks to identify gaps in the current literature and suggests directions for future research in this evolving field. By consolidating existing knowledge, this systematic literature review aims to provide valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers looking to enhance the design and implementation of placement initiatives, fostering transition for students en_US
