dc.description.abstract Gating design in a casting is extremely essential criteria of tooling advancement. A unscrupulous method of gating leads either to low yield or poor quality of cast, which influence the productivity. Design of gating system is mostly carried out manually, using 2Dimensional drawing of casting part. Then tooling contrives the sample casting which engage in more trials, which involve lot of production cost in the form of wastage of man power, time and obstruct the day to day schedule of the particular production. Simulation provides a clear understanding of regarding the location and scale of internal defects, fortifying that sound casting as first time and every time. The casting simulation software is used to study the simulation behavior of casting. It should be expected that this work will be of immense important equally to the industrial design engineers as well as to the, academicians. Final product should have confirmed the design requirement without internal defects and sound quality. en_US
